New Sign Installed

Thanks to your contributions and participation in our funding raising activities, our first replacement sign has been built and installed. Installed Friday evening, May 15, 2009, the sign is double-side and has been installed at the Dellynne entrance to the neighborhood. But since the sign is double-sided, there’s a message for those going and returning to SFVNA. We’re still collecting money to replace the sign at Montano, and add additional signs at Bogart and Vulcan. See the link about New Signs on how you can contribute.

While we were out taking pictures of the new sign, we noticed some new paint on Bogart around the Park. The beginning of the bike lanes now have the bike lane indicator, and the 25 mph speed limit has also been painted on the street at both ends of Bogart. Hopefully folks will remember both the speed limit and will respect the bike lanes by not parking in them.
