The Montano signboard is back!
A big thank you to SFV resident Steve Aquila and former board officer Bob Oberer for their work on recreating the damaged sign, and to SFVNA President Russ Poggensee and Treasurer Dean Saliani, for their assistance in installing it.

March 25 Guest Speaker
The open house for the West Mesa Community Planning Area Assessment, originally scheduled for March 20 at the Taylor Ranch Community Center, has been postponed. However, Area Planner Dustin Kiska will be our guest speaker at the March 25 SFVNA board meeting. Dustin will be seeking input about what resources and changes we would like to have on the Westside. This is an opportunity to influence the City planning process by stating what is important to you. This meeting is open to all SFV residents - Monday, March 25, 6PM, in the community room at the Taylor Ranch Library.

Good news on the status of the proposed LNG Plant, which the SFVNA Board has actively opposed: On March 15, the Public Regulatory Commission unanimously approved a final order in Case No. 22-003039-UT denying the New Mexico Gas Company’s application for a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) to build a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant in Rio Rancho.
